The GreenBand-iT Pedal Power Source
Tired of buying 9v batteries for every gig to be sure you won’t run out of power? Tired of hum from your pedal box? Tired of running an extension cord out to your pedal box? Tired of paying the electric and oil company?
I built myself one of these a couple years ago and so many players loved the idea of having one I decided to make a professional version. I use the 12v for my NADY wireless, 9v for 6 pedals and a small mixer, and all I need is one signal cord to the amp. We're talking ZERO hum, no power cords, NO KIDDING!
The Green Pedal Power Source is a power source specially designed to provide enough power to run a huge pedal board for two 4 hour gigs, getting you through a weekend of shows. It provides a clean regulated and filtered DC for your sensitive guitar pedals without causing any hum problems associated with AC pedal power supplies.
Up to 12 outputs are available for either 9v or 12v components. These outputs are on a single plug-able connector and can be easily rewired to match polarity of different pedals jacks, and are current limited and protected by resettable fuses so that accidental short circuit does not permanently damage the power source. A test jack and voltmeter is even included to show you for sure the proper polarity and voltage level before you plug into one of your favorite precious pedals.
Impress your environmentally conscious friends by using green power for your pedals. The standard 12v alarm battery can be re-charged with the optional solar panel that can be mounted outside your window, in theory providing no negative impact to the environment, or it can be recharged from a standard 115vac outlet until you can afford the solar panel. Smaller sized packages with Lithium Ion Batteries can be built (for a lil extra of course). Heck, I've even made a version that uses el-cheapo C cell batteries that you can buy at the dollar store and run for a month of giggin without recharging or changing the batteries.
